To submit your writing for consideration in the Writing of the Realm's Web Library, please read and follow the guidelines below, then email the work and information to Lyssa.

The Required Stuff: document file, credit/copyright information, contact information (email address), and permission for display.
The Optional Stuff: Biographical information on the author, information on the work, link information for author's website/services, accompanying images and copyright information.

  1. All writing must be submitted by the author. Writing must be the original work of the author or be accompanied by credit where applicable (quotes, fanfic character original source. If such credit is unknown, please indicate.).

  2. Writing must be in .html or .txt format. File size limit 1 MB. Files will be formatted for web display and accompanied by site graphics. Long works and those with large graphic accompanying files may be displayed on multiple pages. Images must conform to submission guidelines as far as provision of known copyright and credit information.

  3. The author must give written permission accompanying the writing for the writing to be displayed on The Realm of Fantasy and at minimum must supply an e-mail address to be posted with their work for contact information (alias e-mail, such as hotmail, is acceptable). Copyright information must also be supplied (ie, name of copyright author(s), date of copyright. Copyright is automatically obtained the moment you publish your work in any medium.).

  4. The author may supply additional contact information, such as URL of website or e-store. Please do not send home addresses or phone numbers, these will not be posted.

  5. Writing and images will be displayed at the discretion of the website creator and may be taken down or moved within the site without notice to the author.

  6. Not all work in Writing of the Realm is intended for young audiences, but works containing graphic depictions of sex or violence or other offensive material that conflicts with The Realm of Fantasy or the host FortuneCity will be refused.

  7. The Realm of Fantasy, its creator, and the webhost FortuneCity will take no responsibility for misuse of copyright should work posted on The Realm of Fantasy be posted elsewhere without permission of the author. By default all writing will be accompanied by copyright and contact information (e-mail address) for requesting such permission.

  8. The Realm of Fantasy is not responsible for sale of writing. If you wish to sell your writing or services, you may request a link to accompany your work to an appropriate forum for this activity. The Realm of Fantasy will not seek financial recompense for click-thru traffic beyond affiliation offered by the selling agent.

  9. The author may request removal of their work from The Realm of Fantasy at any time. The work will be removed in a timely period.
